Andersen’s award-winning collection of charge points, including the A2, A3 and the all-new Andersen Quartz, are available. The portfolio offers customers a variety of options from hidden tethered charging cables, socketed configurations and a number of colour and finish options, allowing them to match their charge to their home, vehicle or lifestyle.
Those purchasing through OVO will be able to customise their Andersen Quartz, A3 or A2 unit in a variety of colours, from a stylish Midnight Black or Cheltenham Graphite finish, or for an additional fee, customers can choose a wooden front with Cornish Cream sides. The charge points will be installed by Andersen-trained OVO technicians.
All Andersen charge points are compatible with OVO’s Charge Anytime add-on, which offers smart charging rates for just 7p p/kWh at any time, day or night, with potential savings of up to £620 a year1. Powered by Kaluza’s advanced energy management platform, Charge Anytime optimises charging times and energy use, enabling customers to make the most of low-cost, green energy.
The Andersen collection starts from just £1,199 for the charge point, with standard installation from OVO’s team included. All Andersen charge points are also complete with a market-leading seven-year warranty.
David Martell, Chief Executive of Andersen, said: “It is great to extend our relationship with OVO by making our range of designer EV charge points available to purchase directly through the energy supplier. This collaboration means customers can now choose a charge point that complements their home while benefiting from the cost-saving advantages of OVO’s Charge Anytime add-on.”
OVO’s Director of EV, Alex Thwaites, said: “OVO is committed to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles and our partnership with Andersen will continue to help encourage more drivers to make the switch to electric. This is good news for EV drivers and is also part of our wider commitment to helping customers cut costs and carbon.”
Andersen’s collection is now available via OVO here.
1 Actual sum is £620.93 When you add Charge Anytime to your plan, your home energy rate will stay the same, but the energy consumed by your EV will be charged at an effective rate of 7p per kWh when EV smart charging (thanks to payment of your Charge Anytime charging credit).
The £620 saving is based on an average Charge Anytime customer using 3100kWh a year to charge their EV using the Charge Anytime add on. The Charge Anytime rate on 01/04/2025 is 7p per kWh for Charge Anytime charging compared to the OVO’s UK average SVT rate of 27.03p per kWh. Actual savings will vary depending on vehicle efficiency, driving style, EV charging usage and the cost per kWh of your standard home energy tariff.
